Terms of Use
These terms are between you and SenecaLabs For Computer Systems & Communication Equipment Software Design ("Seneca Labs", "we"), a sole establishment registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (licence no. 1637377). By using CrewRest you agree to them.
1. What CrewRest is
CrewRest suggests sleep and rest timings for layovers from the details you enter. It is a planning aid only. It is not a fatigue risk management system, not medical advice, and not a statement of legal rest or flight-time limitations. Your operator's FRMS, rules and procedures, and your own judgement, always come first. You're responsible for being fit for duty.
2. Your account
You need an account to use CrewRest. Keep your login safe and the details you enter accurate; the plan is only as good as the times you give it. You can delete your account at any time in the app.
3. Free use and subscriptions
- Your first layover is free, with every feature, and stays usable and editable until its wake-up call.
- Planning further layovers, saved layovers and sharing need a subscription (annual or monthly), with a free trial where offered.
- Subscriptions are bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play, renew automatically until cancelled, and are managed and refunded under their rules. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (or trial) to avoid being charged.
- If your subscription ends, everything you've already planned stays visible and its alarms keep working; you can't create new layovers until you subscribe again.
4. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app, try to break or reverse-engineer it, or use it to break the law.
5. Our content
CrewRest, its design and its planning logic belong to Seneca Labs. Your layovers belong to you.
6. Availability
We work to keep CrewRest running and accurate but can't promise it's always available or error-free. Alarms and notifications depend on your phone's settings; always keep an independent alarm or hotel wake-up call.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the app's suggestions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
8. Changes and ending
We may update these terms; we'll show the new date here and tell you in the app if the change matters. You can stop using CrewRest and delete your account at any time.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates. Contact: contact@senecalabs.co.
Apple's standard EULA also applies to apps downloaded from the App Store.
